On the backdrop of our earlier order dated 28th February 2024, we have heard Mr. Godbole, learned Senior Counsel, who is appointed as Special Counsel on behalf of the State Government. He submits that considering the order dated 20th March 2023, passed by the co-ordinate bench of this Court on the proceedings of Writ Petition No. 1819 of 2022, it is recommended to the State Government to file a review petition and take further appropriate steps. 2.
We may not be concerned on any such recommendation at this stage, suffice it to observe that the order dated 4th March 2022, passed by the Principal Secretary, which we have referred in our earlier order, has already been implemented qua one of the beneficiaries. The petitioner is also held eligible for the amount as claimed in the order of the Commissioner dated 26th May 2022. Additional reply on behalf of the State is placed on record. Mr. Shah, intends to take instructions. We shall hear the parties on the adjourned date of hearing.
