The matter is taken on Board by way of a praecipe filed by the Respondents.

Heard learned counsel for the parties. The order dated 28 March 2024 has recorded a submission of the respondent to deposit Rs. 1 Crore. Though not in 10 days but subsequently Rs.1 Crore is deposited in this Court. However, 2nd direction is not complied till today. Respondents were directed to file an affidavit on or before 12 April 2024 thereby explaining the source of acquisition of balance amount to be paid by the respondents and the duration.

It is contended on behalf of the applicants that now the matter is listed on 2 December 2024 so let that affidavit be filed on or before 2 December 2024. If it is not filed, the natural consequences would follow.

On earlier dates, this matter was kept under the caption 'settlement'. According to learned counsel for the parties, the settlement has failed. Let it be under the caption of 'Settlement' but parties are at liberty to argue the matter. Stand over to 2 December 2024 under the caption 'Settlement'.
