Order in Writ Petition Nos. 492/2024, 461/2024, 462/2024, 235/2024 and 563/2024 :

1.

It is the grievance of the petitioners that though they are eligible teachers and they are absorbed in the service, and are getting regular salary, the arrears of their salary is not paid to them. The respondents are paying arrears of salary to only those teachers who have preferred contempt proceedings.

2.

If this is so, respondents shall pay arrears of salary of petitioners for the period from April 2018 to April 2025, by ascertaining their eligibility within a period of six (6) weeks from today. 3.

Learned AGP to instruct State Government, Education Department, to verify the eligibility of the petitioners and if found eligible to disburse their arrears of salary within twelve (12) weeks from today.

With these directions, Writ Petitions are disposed of. 5.
