1] It is informed by the learned counsel appearing for respondent no.1 that the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner have now been dropped. He therefore submits that steps would be taken to ensure that the petitioner receives his pensionary benefits. It is accordingly directed that necessary steps to forward the pension papers of the petitioner be taken within a period of six weeks from today. It is expected that the petitioner's pensionary benefits would be released within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the pension papers.
