Heard Mr. Acharya, learned Advocate for Petitioner and Mr. Dube, learned Advocate for Respondent.

Considering the order dated 28.03.2024 passed by this Court, Petitioner has given a cheque of the entire outstanding amount to the Respondent and her Advocate who are both present in Court. I direct the Respondent to accept the said cheque and deposit the same in her bank account and inform the Court about encashment of the said cheque on the next date. If there is any outstanding amount which is due and payable thereafter the same shall be paid by Petitioner unfailingly and without recourse to this Court before the next date. It is directed that all payment regarding maintenance amount in the future shall be paid by Petitioner to the Respondent - wife as per the directions of the Court without any delay.

Considering the above, I propose to take up hearing of the Writ Petition on the next adjourned date once the parties inform the Court about clearance of the entire outstanding amount. 4.

Considering that it is a high value cheque, Petitioner is directed by this Court to inform his banker and and also submit his positive pay verification to his bank, so as to ensure that the said cheque does not get dishonoured for any reason. 5.

Affidavit-in-Reply, if any, is permitted to be filed before the next adjourned date, advance copy of which shall be given to the Petitioner.
