In this Writ Petition very important issue is raised regarding establishment of welfare fund for the Advocates' Clerks within the State of Maharashtra.

Mr. Arjunwadkar, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner, i.e. The Maharashtra Advocates' Clerks Association points out that such Policy and Rules are in existence in various states including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand and Orissa.

As the issue raised in the Petition is very important, we request learned Advocate General to assist the Court, so that effective directions regarding formulation of Policy and/or Rules governing the establishment of welfare funds for the Advocates' Clerks within the State of Maharashtra can be issued.
