Learned counsel for the parties submit that the parties are agreeable to explore possibility of an amicable settlement. However, by RAJESHWARI RAMESH PILLAI Date:

they submit that they are still not able to arrive at any terms. They therefore request that the parties be referred for mediation. 2.
Parties are referred to the Main Mediation Centre, High Court, Bombay for appointment of some appropriate Mediator for conducting mediation meetings at Thane.

Learned counsel for the petitioner shall intimate this order to the Main Mediation Centre.

The respondent-wife has filed an Interim Application (St) No. 23625 of 2024 for permission to withdraw the amount of Rs.90,000/- deposited by the petitioner in this court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions submits that the applicant-wife be permitted to withdraw the said amount. He further submits that due to financial constraints he is not in a position to pay monthly maintenance of Rs.15,000/-. He on instructions of the petitioner is agreeable to pay an amount of Rs.7000/- as interim maintenance till further orders. By way of an interim arrangement, petitioner is permitted to pay an amount of Rs.7000/- per month towards monthly maintenance by transferring the amount directly the wife's bank account.

Interim Application (St) No. 23625 of 2024 is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).

Office is directed to release payment in favour of the applicant i.e. respondent in the Writ Petition on production of authenticated copy of this order.

List the petition under the caption "For Settlement" on 23rd September 2024.

Subject to aforesaid compliance by the petitioner, the ad-interim relief already granted in the petition to continue till the next date. 10.
It is clarified that the applicant-wife is at liberty to intimate the calculation regarding the balance payment of arrears towards the maintenance. Appropriate orders regarding the arrears, if any, shall be passed on the next date.
