Learned counsel for the wife seeks time on the ground that arguing counsel is in some difficulty.

Learned counsel for the husband seeks time to file affidavitin-reply in the petition filed by the wife.

Affidavit-in-reply to be filed within three weeks from today with an advance copy to the other side.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that the parties had exchanged offers for settlement. However, they were unable to finalize the terms. They submit that the parties are agreeable to explore the possibility of amicable settlement. They further request that the parties be referred for mediation.

By consent, Justice Suresh Gupte former Judge of this Court is appointed as a Mediator.

The husband shall bear the cost towards mediation. 7.

Learned Mediator is at liberty to issue necessary directions regarding payment of charges, if any, towards the mediation. 8.

List the petition under the caption "for settlement" on 2nd September 2024.
