Heard learned counsel for the parties.
By this petition, the only relief sought by the petitioner is a direction to the respondent-authorities to decide the petitioner's application dated 24th August 2022 for renewal of CL-3 License No. 165 for the period from 2015-2016 to 2022- 1/3
2023, filed before the District Collector, State Excise, Palghar Office, which, according to him, is pending before the appropriate authority at Palghar.
Learned A.G.P, on instructions, states that the petitioner had filed a renewal application dated 24th August 2022 before the Collector, Palghar, instead of the Collector, Ratnagiri. She states that the Superintendent of State Excise, Palghar has forwarded the petitioner's application to the Superintendent of State Excise, Ratnagiri, on 12th August 2025. Learned A.G.P, further states, on instructions, that the said application will be decided by the Office of the Collector, Ratnagiri, as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, within four weeks from the date of its receipt. Statement accepted.
In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in the petition. Petition stands disposed of. 2/3
