Heard Mr. Gajraj Mali, learned counsel for the Petitioners, and Mr. Mali, learned AGP for the Respondent-State.

By the present Writ Petition, the Petitioners seek a direction to Respondent No.2 to grant approval to the appointment of Petitioner No.1 as a Junior Clerk with effect from 22nd November 2010. However, Mr. Gajraj Mali, learned counsel for the Petitioners, submits that by order dated 26th May 2025, such approval has already been granted. He further submits that the proposal for inclusion of the name of Petitioner adn 1 of

943-WP-2709-2024 (C).doc No.1 in the Shalarth ID has not yet been decided. 3.

He submits that in view of the order dated 26th May 2025 passed by the Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad, Sangli, whereby approval to the appointment of Petitioner No.1 has been granted with effect from 16th July 2012, there is no impediment in including the name of Petitioner No.1 in the Shalarth ID.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, we direct the Respondent No.2 - Deputy Director of Education, Kolhapur Division, Kolhapur, to include the name of Petitioner No.1 in the Shalarth ID pursuant to the order dated 26th May 2025 passed by the Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad, Sangli with all consequential benefits. 5.

The Writ Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
