In the present Petition, the issue is as regards disqualification of Respondent Nos.4 to 6 under Section 14B of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1958, in respect of the elections which were conducted way back in the year 2016. 2.

The contention in the Petition is that the Respondent Nos.4 to 6 had failed to lodge the account of election expenses within time prescribed and thus incurred disqualification. The complaint in respect of the same came to be filed in the year 2023. Admittedly, the term is already over and as such, in exercise of powers under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, I am not inclined to entertain the present Petition. Petition stands dismissed.
