Heard learned counsel for the parties.

By this Petition, the Petitioner seeks a direction to the Respondent-Authority, i.e., the Respondent No.2-the Collector, Pune (Rehabilitation Department) to decide the Application made by the Petitioner, i.e., the Application dated 3rd February 2009 seeking allotment of alternate land.

Considering that the Application is pending since February 2009, we deem it appropriate to direct the Respondent No.2 to take up the Application dated 3rd February 2009 for hearing on priority Gaikwad RD 1/2

913-wp-3189-2024.doc basis and decide the same as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within six weeks from today.

Learned AGP to forthwith communicate this order to the Respondent No.2, in order to enable the Respondent No.2 to comply with the order.

The Petition is accordingly disposed of with the aforesaid direction.

List the Petition for 'Recording Compliance' on 26th September 2025.
