In the above Writ Petition, we had permitted the Petitioner to join Union of India through the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, as Respondent No.4 to the above Writ Petition. We had also permitted the Petitioner to amend the description of Respondent No.1 to read as "State of Maharashtra through the Medical Education and Drugs Department" instead of "through Health Department". These amendments were to be carried out within a period of one week from 12th November, 2024 and the Registry was

directed to issue notice to the newly added Respondent returnable on 26 th November, 2024. This was to be done after the amendments were carried out.

Today when the matter is moved, the learned Advocate appearing for the Petitioner, submitted that due to inadvertence, the amendments have not been carried out. He, therefore, seeks a weeks' time today to carried out the amendments.

In these circumstances, the time to carry out the amendments as per order dated 12th November, 2024, is extended by a period of one week from today. Re-verification is dispensed with. 5.

Once the amendments are carried out, the Registry is directed to issue notice to the newly added Respondent No.4 returnable on 8th January, 2025. Hamdast is permitted.

In addition to the Court notice, the Petitioner is also permitted to serve Respondent No.4 with the papers and proceedings of the above Writ Petition along with a copy of this order by private notice as well.

Stand over to 8th January, 2025.
