Our order dated 16th October, 2024 has not been complied with by Respondent No.2. The learned Advocate appearing on behalf of Respondent No.2, seeks time.

We find that the Petitioner, who is a compassionate appointee and is a person with disabilities, is not paid his salary with effect from October, 2010 despite the order dated 25th April, 2022 by which, his earlier termination is set aside and the order of his first appointment on compassionate basis, dated 20th October, 2010, is restored.

We are listing this Petition on 13th February, 2025, in the supplementary board, for passing further orders. 4.

We caution Respondent No.2 that if the steps for releasing the arrears of salary and payment of regular salary are not taken within this period, we would be constrained to direct the stoppage of payment of salary of those officers on account of whose conduct such payment has not been made.
