Considering the order passed by this Court on 16th October, 2024, this Petition is worked out. The regular monthly salary is being paid to the Petitioner through the Shalarth-ID. Insofar as the issue of arrears of wages are concerned, the learned Advocate representing Respondent No.2, Administrative Officer, submits on instructions that the proposal for payment of arrears has been forwarded to the Competent Authority. We grant 120 days to SUNNY THOTE

917-WP-4735-2024-(C).odt the concerned Authorities to ensure that the arrears are calculated and paid to the Petitioner, through the Shalarth-ID portal, in his salary bank account.

The issue of the Petitioner having been appointed on compassionate basis, would be considered by the concerned Authority. In the event of there being any legal impediment in the calculations of the arrears on the purported ground that the Petitioner was not in Employment, a reasoned order shall be passed and if the Petitioner is aggrieved, he would be at liberty to assail the order by availing of a remedy, as is permissible in law. 3.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
