Mr Pabale, learned AGP who appears for the competent authority states that the petitioners' claim set out in representation dated 06 September 2023 will be considered along with all other claims in terms of Section 19C of the Maharashtra Highways Act and appropriate decision will be taken in accordance with law.

Mr Killedar learned counsel for the petitioner states that after recording the above statement this petition can be disposed of.

Accordingly, we record the above statement made by the learned AGP on behalf of the competent authority and dispose of this petition. The competent authority will have to act in accordance with the statement made on their behalf. 5.

We clarify that we have not gone into the rival contentions inter se between the parties and therefore, all contentions of all parties are left open to be decided by the competent authority in the first instance.
