Mr. Avhad learned counsel for the petitioner states that the issue raised in this petition is covered by the decision of this Court in the case of Hardas (Haridas) Vs State of Maharashtra1 .

Accordingly, issue notice to the respondents returnable on 28 March 2025. The notice should intimate that this petition will be disposed of finally at the admission stage. The petitioner to taken immediate steps to serve the notice to the respondents and file affidavit of service.

If the respondents wish to file replies they should file and serve such reply latest by 18 March 2025. Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees to prepare a short synopsis with list of dates and compilation of judgment on which the petitioner seeks to rely upon.
