Learned counsel for the parties submit that parties would be agreeable to explore the possibility of an amicable settlement. They request to refer the parties for mediation.

By consent of the parties, Mr. S. G. Deshmukh, advocate practicing in this Court is appointed as a mediator. Learned counsel for the petitioner to intimate this order to the learned mediator and submit necessary papers. The cost of mediation will be borne by the 1/2
44.8865.24 wp.docx petitioner. Learned mediator is at liberty to issue necessary directions regarding payment of cost towards mediation.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the petitioner is in arrears of maintenance amount to the tune of Rs. 7,68,000/- as on April 2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has deposited amount of Rs. 35,000/- in Family Court at Sangli. He further submits that he will take instructions whether the petitioner can deposit some further ad-hoc amount. 4.
Respondent no. 1 is permitted to withdraw the amount deposited by the petitioner in the Family Court at Sangli on production of authenticated copy of this order.

List the petition for further directions on 31st July 2024. 6.
