The only direction sought by the petitioner is for expeditious consideration of his representation dated 9th October 2023 that has been made before the Assistant Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Malegaon. The petitioner seeks to obtain benefit under Section 44A of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960.

Since the petitioner's representation dated 9th October 2023 is yet to be adjudicated, the following directions would serve the ends of justice :- (i) The petitioner is at liberty to place before the Assistant Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Malegaon the additional documents to support the prayers made 1/2 Digitally signed by SNEHA ABHAY DIXIT Date:

in the writ petition. The same be done within a period of four weeks from today.

(ii) Within a further period of four weeks of receiving additional documents, the Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Malegaon shall decide the representation of the petitioner dated 9th October 2023 on its own merits and in accordance with law. The decision taken be communicated to the petitioner. (iii) Needless to state that if the petitioner is not satisfied with the outcome of the aforesaid exercise, he is free to take appropriate steps.

The writ petition is disposed of.
