Mr. Bhavake, learned Counsel for the petitioner, submits that although various reliefs are sought in the present petition, he has instructions to restrict the relief to the extent of directing Respondent No.5 - Education Officer to decide the proposal sent by Respondent No.6 - Education Institution and the Headmaster of Respondent No.7 - Secondary School for grant of individual approval to the appointment of adn

934-WP-11683-2024 the petitioner to the post of Peon at Respondent No.7 - Secondary School within a stipulated period. He submits that the said proposal has been pending since the year 2012.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, we direct Respondent No.5 - Education Officer to decide the proposal dated 3rd August 2012 within a period of eight weeks from today.

It is clarified that this Court has not examined the merits of the matter and all contentions on merits are expressly kept open. 5.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of in the above terms, with no order as to costs.
