It is being pointed out that in spite of the directions of the Court all these petitioners have been paid the arrears and are being paid salaries only @ Rs.25,000/- per month, whereas, till the year 2018, according to the petitioners, some of these petitioners were being paid 5/6

salaries according to the pay scale. It is also being pointed out that in several matters at Nagpur of similarly placed individuals/special teachers there was a direction to pay to them salaries @ Rs.75,000/- per month albeit by way of an inter locutory order. The order was challenged before the Supreme Court which refused to entertain the Special Leave Petition. It is also being pointed out that in one matter of this bench also there has been a direction to pay to a similarly placed special teacher @ Rs.75,000/- per month by way of salary.

In view of above, let there be an affidavit-in-reply by the Director of Education (Primary). If no reply is filed, the Principal Secretary of the School Education and Sports shall remain personally present. We expect that the affidavit-in-reply would address all the aforementioned aspects as well.
