Heard the learned counsel for the respective parties. 2.

After arguing the matter for some time, the learned counsel for the respondent, on instructions, makes a statement that the respondent, who is personally present before the Court, has agreed to forgo the interest awarded by the Industrial Court.

In view of the above statement, the writ petition is partly allowed. 4.

The impugned order, to the extent of granting interest at the rate of 8% on the amount of Rs.13,28,441/- is hereby set aside. The amount deposited by the petitioners in this Court is permitted to be withdrawn by respondent along with interest accrued thereon, if any. The petitioners are directed to pay the remaining amount to the respondent within a period of eight weeks from today.
