Heard learned counsel for the Contempt Petitioners as well as the Respondents.

Since the dispute between the parties is confined to the calculation of amount payable to the Petitioners towards 6th pay commission, by consent of the parties, the above Contempt Petition and Interim Application are disposed of on the following terms-

A. Both the parties agree to approach the Joint Director, Technical Education, Pune for computation of correct amount of 6th pay commission payable to the Petitioners; B. An authenticated copy of this order be placed before the Joint Director, Technical Education, Pune, who shall thereafter issue notice to all concerned and fix a date for appearance of the parties;

C. The Joint Director, Technical Education, Pune shall give sufficient opportunity to all concerned to place the relevant documents on record and also grant an opportunity to make oral and written submissions;

D. The parties are at liberty to appear through their Advocate/representatives for making oral and written submissions;

E. The Joint Director, Technical Education, Pune is requested to complete the enquiry and pass necessary speaking order within a period of eight weeks from today & furnish a copy of the same to the respective parties;

All the contentions of both the parties, on merits of the computation as per the AICTE Notification dated 05.03.2010 & GR dated 20.08.2010 in light of the judgment dated 20.12.2022 in Writ Petition No. 7111 of 2017, are expressly kept open.

In view of the above, Contempt Petition and the Interim Application are disposed of.

4.

Stand over to 25/03/2026 under the caption 'For Compliance'.
