The Petitioners, in the present petitions filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seek extension of 2nd May 2024
33-35-ARP-233-2023-ARP-13-14-2024.DOC the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for an additional period of twelve months from the date of passing of the order. 2.
Mr. Gadgil, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner states that circulation was granted for 11th May 2024, but the matters are listed today. He has already given private notice to the Respondent and seeks permission to file the affidavit of service during the course of the day. According to Mr. Gadgil although he had sought extension of time to complete the arbitral proceedings, during the pendency of the present petition the award has already been passed and the Petitioner has made an application seeking correction of the award, to the Arbitral Tribunal. In these circumstances, he seeks extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

None appears for the Respondent today. The Petitioner is directed to give fresh notice to the Respondent regarding the next date of hearing. The Petitioner also undertakes to file a fresh affidavit of service on or before the next date. 4.
List the matter on 8th May 2024.
