We are informed that during the pendency of the two Public Interest Litigation, which raise an objection to the alleged construction undertaken by Respondent nos. 1 and 5 in Salvador do Mundo Village Bardez Taluka, show cause notice was issued on the basis of the complaints filed before the office of the Deputy Town Planner. The proceedings were followed up before the Senior Town Planner in which even the Public Interest Litigation Petitioners were heard. It is informed that the Deputy Town Planner on 10.01.2025 has passed an Order in relation to the proposed construction of the residential house (as per the revised plan) and has approved the plan and granted permission for the construction of the residential house, staff quarters, swimming pool and compound wall by recording that if falls within the Settlement Zone of Regional Plan 2021 and beyond the High Tide Line.

2. In the wake of the aforesaid Order, the Petition came to be amended and the respective Counsel for Respondent nos. 1 and 5 in the two PIL Petitions are desirous to place on record their additional affidavit. In addition, we also expect a response from the office of the Town Planner so as to justify the passing of the Order dated 10.01.2025.
