The advertisement for selection for Setu operation was of 24/02/2022, which mandates the applicant like the petitioner to provide 100 sq.ft of land on ownership or tenancy basis.

It is borne out of the record of the respondents that the petitioner has offered land of his grandfather in August 2023 and not on the date of the application.

Apparent from above, the respondent No.4 is already informed to have been disqualified from the selection process as is informed by the learned Additional Government Pleader, who is appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3. That being so, there is no substance in the writ petition. The same is dismissed.
