Heard learned Counsel for the respective parties. (2) The present Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioners seeking direction to the Respondents to consider the candidature of the Petitioner No. 2 in the waiting list of the candidates for appointment on compassionate ground. The Joint Managing Director of the Maharashtra Warehouse Corporation, Pune, by its communication dated 29/08/2022, informed the Petitioner No. 2 that the name of her mother was taken on the waiting list, after the death of the employee and that cannot be substituted by any other name. 11wp956.24 11wp956.24 Government Resolution came to be issued on 17/07/2025 by the State of Maharashtra, wherein it is specifically stated that the name of the other eligible candidates can be substituted.
(3) Learned Counsel for the Respondents vehemently opposed the Writ Petition on the ground that the name of the Petitioner No. 1 has already been removed on 14/10/2020, whereas the Petitioner No. 2 submitted an Application on 27/06/2022 for substitution of her name. (4) In view of the above, the Petitioners seek permission to make a Representation again to the Respondents.
(5) As such, we direct that if such Representation is filed by the Petitioners within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered on its own merits within a period of four weeks thereafter.
