The contention of learned counsel appearing for the petitioners is that the petitioners, who are Ambulance Drivers, are entitled for equal pay as that of the others similarly placed employees. She claimed that the issue is no more res integra as this court, while deciding the Writ Petition No.1305/2021 and Writ Petition No.1810/2021 in judgment dated 6th April, 2022, has already conferred the benefits based on the identical issue which was decided by the Apex Court in Special Leave Petition © No.8395/2021, dated March 23, 2022.

That being so, issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 11th June, 2024.

Mr. D.P. Thakare, learned Additional Government Pleader, waives service of notice on behalf of the respondent nos.1 to 4.
