The issue pertaining to the regularization of the plots of the petitioners appears to be under consideration of the respondentNIT as could be inferred from the communication dated 19.10.2022 issued by the Divisional Officer (West) to the Building Engineer (West) of the respondent-NIT. 3.

It is the contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that the respondent-NIT has not taken any decision on the issue of regularization of the plots.

In this background, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondent-NIT to decide the claim of the petitioners for regularization of their plots as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of three months from the date of production of copy of this order.

With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
