1. The parties are present before the Court. Mr. Fernandes has also joined the proceedings in the chamber through VC.
2. The Court has made an attempt to bring about a mutual settlement between the parties. I have also spoken to Ms. Graca alone. It appears that despite the counselling, she is not willing to have any association with Mr. Fernandes. She is not willing to go to London to stay with 27th April, 2026
14 WP 581 2024 him for a few days, even for a holiday. In these circumstances, it doesn't appear to the Court that the matter will be settled between the parties amicably.
3. I have also spoken to Mr. Fernandes. He had already invited his daughter to London to spend some time at his house and develop a relationship with him, considering that they have been estranged for a long duration. I have also facilitated Ms. Graca in speaking to Mr. Fernandes on VC alone in chambers. She has directly told him that she is not willing to associate with him.
4. In these circumstances, Mr. Fernandes has also conveyed in the presence of his daughter, his wife and his Lawyer that his doors are always open for her whenever she feels like accepting his affections.
