The present application has been filed by the petitioners for condonation of delay of 805 days caused in bringing the remaining legal representatives of deceased respondent No.10 on record.

It is contended that during the pendency of the petition, respondent No.10 died on 12th March, 2021. Since the aforesaid period was the period of COVID-19 lockdown, and as per the petitioners, there is a delay of 805 days in bringing the remaining legal representatives of deceased respondent No.10 on record.

Ms. Jachak, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents/State opposes the application.

Since the reasons stated in the application sufficiently substantiate the delay caused in bringing the remaining legal representatives of deceased respondent No.10 on record, we are inclined to condone the delay of 805 days caused in bringing the remaining legal representatives of deceased respondent No.10 on record.

Accordingly, the delay of 805 days caused in bringing the remaining legal representatives of deceased respondent No.10 on record is condoned.

The civil application is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
CIVIL APPLICATION (CAW) NO. 1623/2025 7.
The present application has been filed by the petitioners for bringing the remaining legal representatives of deceased respondent No.10 on record. The proposed legal representatives of deceased respondent No.10 are described in paragraph 2 of the application.

Since the delay caused in filing the present application is already condoned, we set aside the abatement of the present petition against respondent No.10, and allow the petitioners to bring the legal representatives of deceased respondent No.10 on record.

The cause title be amended within one week from today

The civil application is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
WRIT PETITION NO. 4759 OF 2019 11.
After the amendment is carried out by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the Registry to issue notice to the newly added respondent Nos.10(A) and 10(B), returnable on 30th September, 2025.

In addition to usual mode, the petitioners to serve the newly added respondent Nos.10(A) and 10(B) by private mode.
