On 18th January, 2024 following order was passed :

"Heard.

Issue notice to the non applicants, returnable after three weeks.

By the present application, the applicant-appellant is seeking stay to the effect and operation of the impugned order. The applicant shall deposit, in three weeks, the entire amount of compensation in terms of Rule 1(3) of Order XLI of the Civil Procedure Code, 1908. Upon depositing such an amount, the request made in the present application will be considered."

The counsel for applicant submits that cheque is ready and seeks permission to deposit the same within

Permission is granted.

Once the cheque is deposited, the impugned judgment and award dated 17.6.2023 shall stand stayed pending appeal.
