The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner has sought permission to amend the prayers in the Interim Application by seeking a prayer for permission to amend the Writ Petition by adding paragraphs 11(a-iii) after paragraph 11(a-ii) in the Writ Petition. Permission is granted. 2.
The amendment shall be carried out forthwith in the prayer clause of the Interim Application. Reverification is dispensed with. 3.
By this Interim Application and the amended prayer, the Petitioner has sought permission to amend the Petition. The proposed amendment is also set out below the prayer which is for adding two prayers in the Writ Pallavi 1/2
2 9-IA-322-2026 in WP-9641-2022 (C).doc Petition. The prayer sought is for quashing and setting aside the letters/orders dated 1 December 2022, 21 January 2023, 5 April 2023 and 15 May 2023 as being bad in law and illegal. There is an interim prayer also sought for stay on the effect and implementation of the aforementioned impugned letters/orders.

The impugned letters/orders are subsequent events which have arisen after the filing of the present Writ Petition. There is no opposition to the grant of permission to amend the Writ Petition as sought for in the Interim Application.

In view thereof, the Petitioner is permitted to amend the Writ Petition in terms of the aforesaid prayers sought for and which forms part of the Interim Application. This amendment shall be carried out within a period of one week from today. Re-verification is dispensed with. 6.
Interim Application No.322 of 2026 is accordingly disposed of. 7.
