The WP/3305/2009 and WP/3306/2009, were disposed off on 01/04/2021, by passing the following order:

These petitions have been notified as per the list of akn (1)

922&923.IA.14070.2024 matters as received from the office of the learned Government Pleader to have become infructuous. As per the office notice dated 16 March 2021, the Advocates for the petitioners/petitioners were called upon to give a praecipe in advance in case the petitions have not become infructuous. Such praecipe has not been received in regard to these petitions. Accordingly, the petitions are disposed of as infructuous however with liberty to the petitioners to revive the petitions in case the cause of action survives.

Disposed of in the above terms. No costs."

Under this order, liberty was given to the Petitioners to revive the Writ Petitions in case the cause survives. The learned Counsel for the Petitioners states that cause in the Petitions survive and it has not become infructuous.

Heard the learned Advocates. Both these Interim Applications are allowed.

Order dated 01/04/2021, passed in WP/3305/2009 and WP/3306/2009, is recalled. Both these Writ Petitions are restored to file. 5.
