The learned counsel for the applicant, in the second application for suspension of sentence, stated that the victim (respondent No. 2) voluntarily approached the applicant's family and expressed her desire to marry the applicant. The counsel appearing for the victim/respondent No. 2 was directed to seek instructions from the victim regarding the statement made by the applicant's counsel. It is submitted by the counsel for respondent No. 2 that instructions from the victim is not received and two weeks time is sought to respond.
