Earlier application for suspension of sentence was not pressed by the applicant / appellant. During pendency of the trial, there are some developments, wherein according to the applicant, the victim i.e. respondent No.2 voluntarily approached the family of the applicant / appellant and express desire to marry the appellant. It is contended that the appellant is also willing to marry the victim. However, the said contention is to be verified. Accordingly, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.2 / victim shall take necessary instructions and file reply to that effect. 2.

List the matter on 01.10.2025.
