At the outset, learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to amend the prayer clause (a) to substitute the words 'Respondent No.2' with 'Respondent No.3'. Leave granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith.

The Petitioner seeks to direct the Respondent No.3 to produce the minor daughter of the Petitioner before Respondent No.4 - Child Welfare Committee for the purpose of recording the statement of his minor child and to conduct inquiry in the matter and further to decide the issue of custody of minor child.

Learned counsel for the Respondent No.3, under instructions from the Respondent No.3 who is present before the Court makes a statement that Respondent No.3 shall produce the child before Child Welfare Committee on 12th February, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. and further as and when directed by the Child Welfare Committee. 4.

Respondent No.4 - Child Welfare Committee shall record the statement of minor child and proceed to take all steps in accordance with the law.
