P.C.:- 1) In pursuance of Order dated 30th September, 2025, under the directions of the Municipal Commissioner, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Mumbai, the Joint Municipal Commissioner (Vigilance) along with the Chief Engineer (Vigilance) have jointly conducted a detailed investigative enquiry into the complaint filed by the Petitioner against certain Officers employed with the Corporation. 2) The concerned Authority after conducting an enquiry came to the conclusion that, it is the contractor namely M/s. Maa Ashish 1/2
ssm 1-wp290.2024.doc Construction has made certain irregularities and therefore it has been penalized by imposing a cost of Rs.50,000/- for negligence and oversight for not maintaining records of challans, photos, DPR, etc.. That, necessary warning was issued to the supervisory staff of the BMC for not ensuring maintenance of proper records of the road works from the contractor. 2.1) The entire record of the enquiry thereafter was placed before the Commissioner of Corporation, who has accepted the said report. 2.2) Mr. Carlos learned counsel for the Respondent Nos.2 and 3 tendered across the bar a photocopy of the said report dated 5th January, 2026 signed by the Joint Municipal Commissioner (Vigilance) and Chief Engineer (Vigilance).
3) In view of the above, Order dated 30th September, 2025 is complied with.
3.1) Remove from board.
