This petition is filed for quashing of criminal proceedings arising out of C.R. No. 171 of 2023 registered at Powai Police Station under Section 498A, 406 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (the IPC). Learned APP on instructions states that the investigation is over. She submitted copy of the report of the Investigating Officer mentioning that the police are seeking "B" Summary in this matter. Learned APP submitted that an appropriate application for granting "B" Summary will be filed before the JMFC, 66th Court, Andheri, Mumbai. The same report is taken on record. In view of this report, learned counsel for the petitioners does not press this petition. In this view of the matter the petition is disposed of as not pressed. The petitioners would be at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law in case the "B" Summary is not accepted. Purti Parab
