The learned A.P.P. Mr.Haldankar has placed before us a communication addressed to him on 21/10/2024 by the Superintendent, Nashik Road Central Jail, informing that the name of the Petitioner has been included in the remission register and he has been declared to be qualified to be admitted in Visapur District Open Jail, District Ahmednagar and, accordingly, he has been admitted there.

The communication is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification.

In the wake of the above communication, since the grievance of the Petitioner stands redressed, we dispose of the Petition.

We would like to place on record the words of appreciation for Advocate Ajit Savagave, who on being appointed through Legal Aid, has effectively represented the cause of the Petitioner before us. The Legal Services Authority is directed to pay the legal remuneration due to him within a period of six weeks from today.
