1) Pursuant to the order passed on 01.07.2025, the learned Advocate appearing for the Respondent has taken instructions and he informs that, the Respondent-Wife is ready to go for mediation for settling the dispute between the parties. 2) Learned Advocate for the Respondent suggests the name of Advocate Sangita Bapat practicing at Taluka Khed, District Ratnagiri.

3) Accordingly, the learned Advocate Sangita Bapat is requested by this Court to mediate in the matter and submit mediation report to this Court within a period of 8 weeks. 4) The Mediator is at liberty to fix the terms and conditions of the mediation between the parties and the procedure to be adopted.

5) The charges of mediation will be borne by the present Petitioner.

6) The copy of the Writ Petition along with necessary documents shall be furnished to the Mediator by the learned Advocate for the Respondent.

7) As undertaken by the learned Advocate for the Petitioner, the Petitioner will deposit an amount of Rs. 3 lakhs from the arrears due towards the maintenance within a period of four weeks from 01.07.2025.

8) Learned Advocate for the Petitioner makes a request that, considering that the Petitioner is presently sailing, he be permitted to participate in the mediation proceedings through Video Conferencing (VC).

9) Learned Advocate for the Respondent informs that, the Advocate for the Respondent will inform the Advocate appearing for Respondent in the Trial Court that, pending the mediation proceedings, he will not proceed in the proceedings that are pending before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Court No. 1, Khed, in Criminal Miscellaneous Application No. 32 of 2025.

10) List this Petition on 09.09.2025.
