Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that cognizance has been taken.

That being so, remedy under Article 226 of the Constitution of India will not be available to the petitioners in view of the judgment in case of Pradnya Kulkarni vs. State of Maharashtra (Special Leave to Appeal (Cri.) No.13424/2025). The petitions, however have been also filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 ('Code'). Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would pursue the cause under Section 482 of the Code. 4.

The petitions shall be accordingly treated as applications under Section 482 of the Code. Registry shall list the applications before the appropriate bench.
