This is an Application for withdrawal of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh Only). The submission of learned Advocate for the Applicant-Accused is that the Complainant may be asked to furnish a Bank Guarantee. To that effect, learned Advocate for the Complainant is not ready.

The sentence of Rigorous Imprisonment for six (6) months is reduced by the Appellate Court to one (1) month's simple imprisonment.

Let, the matter be referred to Mediation in order to avail a possibility of settlement. Hence, order:-

O R D E R

(i) Let the matter be referred to District Legal Services Authority-Sangli for mediation.

(ii) Let DLSA-Sangli to appoint a Mediator.

(iii) Let the learned DLSA-Sangli to issue notices to the respective parties.

(iv) Learned Deputy Registrar - Main Mediation Monitoring Committee, High Court, Bombay to supervise the process of mediation.
