Ld. Advocate for the plaintiff submits that the defendant has paid lumpsum consideration of Rs. 1 crore to the plaintiff and photocopy of receipt to that effect is annexed at page no. 79, and therefore, the present suit is valued at Rs. 1 crore for the purpose of pecuniary jurisdiction due to which, present suit is required to be transferred to the Bombay City Civil Court.

Perused record and proceedings of the present Suit. I find substance in the submission of ld. Advocate for the plaintiff.

In view thereof, due to enhancement of pecuniary jurisdiction of Bombay City Civil Court vide The Bombay City Civil Court (Amendment) Act, 2023 r/w. Notification No.

CCS-2923/CR1/D-19 dated 16th January 2024, the present Suit is transferred to the Bombay City Civil Court.
