The learned Mediator has filed a Mediation Report dated 10th February 2026. A perusal of this Mediation Report reveals that the parties have amicably settled the disputes between them. The parties are also stated to have settled the clauses of the Deed of Release, Deed of Indemnity and Deed of Declaration which they are going to execute. The Mediation Report further records that the parties along with their Advocates have expressly agreed to remain present before the Registrar of Assurances for registration
of the Deed of Release on 23rd February 2026 and that immediately thereupon, Defendant No. 2 shall promptly handover to the Plaintiff or her Advocate, the Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque for the sum of Rs. 12.54 Crores towards the release of her 50% beneficial interest in the Bai Bablibai Shapurji Sorabji Trust. The Mediation Report also records the agreement between the parties that irrespective of the characterization by the Stamp Authority, both parties are clear that this transaction pertains to the Plaintiff releasing her 50% beneficial interest in the Trust. 2.
Ms. Alisha Lambay, learned Counsel who appears on behalf of the Plaintiff and Mr. Ankit Lohia, learned Counsel who appears on behalf of the Defendants on instructions of their respective clients, confirm the understanding that has been recorded in the Mediation Report. They undertake on behalf of their respective clients that all the necessary agreements that are mentioned in the Mediation Report will be executed on or before 23rd February 2026 and all the other modalities that are set out therein shall also be performed and completed by them. Their statements are noted and accepted.

A copy of the Mediation Report shall be provided to the Advocates of both the parties. The Department shall expedite the same and ensure that a copy is provided to them, on or before 18th February 2026.
