Mr. Rattesar states the petition was served only yesterday and requests for two week time to file reply. Rejoinder, if any, shall be filed and copy served by 27th February 2024.

Until 15th March, there shall be ad-interim in terms of prayer clause (d), which reads as under:
"(d) that pending the hearing and final disposal of the present petition, the operation of the impugned notice u/s 148 of the Act dated 07th April, 2022 [Ex-D], in respect of the A.Y. 201819, be stayed by this Hon'ble Court and the Respondents, their agents and servants be restrained by an order of injunction by this Hon'ble Court from taking any actions whatsoever directly or indirectly in pursuance of order to give effect to the impugned notice;"

Mr. Shah states Petitioner has received a show cause notice dated 2nd February 2024. We find that there is a scanned portion at page Nos.3 and 4 which are absolutely unreadable. Respondents are directed to send a fresh show cause notice or a readable show cause notice within one week from today.
