On our request, Mr Lad who usually appears for MHADA agreed to appear in this matter.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has made representation dated 11 April 2023 to MHADA requesting for some additional area. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the MHADA should be directed to dispose of this representation in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible. 11th July 2024

Accordingly, we direct MHADA to dispose of this representation dated 11 April 2023 in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible in any even on or before 22 August 2024. The petitioner should be heard in the matter and MHADA should pass a reasoned order. In case the petitioner is not satisfied with the MHADA's decision, the petitioner will have the liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of with no orders as to the costs.
