With consent of learned Counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is heard finally.

The Petitioner, in the instant Petition, seeks a direction to the Respondents to construct the new administrative building at Mulund. 3.
We have heard the learned Counsel for the parties at length. The possession of the land admeasuring 4356.31 sq.mtrs bearing CTS No.676/A/1 and 663 was handed over by the Collector, Mumbai Suburban to the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Esplanade, Mumbai on 5 April 2024. The 1/2
JPP 17. WP 920.2024.doc Building Committee of this Court has approved the plan for construction of new Court building and has forwarded the estimate on 6 May 2025 for approval and for allocation of funds.

Ms. Chavan, Add. Govt. Pleader, on instructions, submits that suitable decision on the aforesaid proposal sent by this Court shall be taken within an outer limit of four weeks. The aforesaid submission is placed on record.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the directions to the State Government to consider the proposal dated 6 May 2025 sent by the High Court for grant of administrative approval and for allocation of funds for construction of a building at Mulund, positively within a period of four weeks from today.
