This Court disposed of the above Writ Petition on 11th July 2024 by directing the Railway Authorities to issue separate show cause notices to each of the Petitioners calling upon them to show cause why their licenses should not be terminated. It was further directed that once a show cause notice is issued, the Railway Authorities would also give a personal hearing to the Petitioners and thereafter pass a reasoned order either cancelling their OCTOBER 10, 2024 Aswale
p1.wp.1293.24.doc licenses or relocating their stalls at a different location, if they are so entitled. We had clarified that this entire exercise was be carried out and completed within a period of eight weeks from 11th July 2024. 3.
Today the matter is moved for an extension of time. Mr.Pandian, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondents submitted that further extension of time is required because the Authorities will have to pass an individual order in each of the case of the Petitioners. 4.
Considering these peculiar facts and circumstances, we direct that passing of the order by the Authorities in the case of each of the Petitioners shall be completed within a period of three months from today. 5.
