DATED : 18 November 2025 PC:- 1.
We are sorry to say that despite our order of 26 September 2025, the NCLT has not bothered to dispose of the matters. The counsel for NCLT is far from helpful and again makes a vague statement that NCLT may dispose of the matter at any time it desires.
2.
Learned counsel now states that he has pointed out this order to the NCLT on 01 October 2025.
2-3-WP-1474-1481-2024.DOCX 3.
Learned counsel further states that the matter would be disposed of within two weeks from today and requests that an extension to that extent may be granted.
4.
Quite reluctantly, we grant extension of two weeks as now prayed for.
5.
We again note that there was an initial direction to dispose of this matter within 12 weeks. This was flouted. The NCLT did not even bother to seek any extension. By the order of 26 September 2025, further extension of six weeks was granted. Even this direction has neither been complied with nor has NCLT bother to seek any extension. The answer of the counsel on behalf of NCLT inspire no confidence whatsoever. 6.
Still, we extend the period by two weeks and place the matter for reporting compliance on 09 December 2025. (Advait M. Sethna, J) (M.S. Sonak, J)
